Mind The Monkeys

…But somebody’s got to do it. Well I just got back into town from 2 weeks out of town working at an event center. My company was contracted to install a special treatment to the walls to kill the echo and make it easy to hear people when they have an event. Let me tell you it is a messy job too, but not to worry I survived.

Hotel life isn’t all that flattering either. I don’t know how those traveling salesmen do it. Luckily I had brought my laptop with me to be able to keep in contact with my friends online. All in all it wasn’t that bad of an experience.

Anyway… Now it seems I will be out of town at a youth camp and heres to hoping its a little less mess that my last experience. I do look forward to this though. I will get a rare chance to meet some of my friends from far off places. I think they finally figured out a way to drag me into coming to camp. Invite some non locals and by that I mean VERY non local, LOL.

Well this is where I end this today. I am just a little tired from my trip, so I will try to blog some more things next time. So until next chat, Ja mata ne.

Well here I am at work again and everyone else has gone to lunch. So that leaves me to be the one answering the phones. Who ever thought of a Graphic Designer doing double duty as the secretary. I guess that just shows how multi-talented I am.

In other news I got my bluetooth headphones to sync up with my new laptop. Man it is it ever sweeet! I got myself a Saitek a-350 bluetooth earphones a while back ( and they aren’t that cheap) and they came with 2 parts, the earphones and the transmitter. The problem that I have noticed is that the trasmitter that you use to plug into the earphone jacks has the worlds thinnest wire. This means I have to becareful not to pull it to hard or the thing might snap. Anyway I have been looking for a way to try to get it to connect to my laptop but have been unable to find the bluetooth pairing code for the earphones. But as the Lord would have it, I was finally able to discover its code (some kind person posted it on a forum, thanks kind person) and get the laptop and earphones to pair up. now I don’t have to use the transmitter unless I want to used my earphones with my Zune.

 Well I better stop here, my co-workers are back from lunch. Catch all next time.

Monkey Master, Kenshu

Well, its still a few hours away yet from being 2007 here where I am, but thats ok its the new year on the other side of the earth somewhere. It is hard to believe that another year has gone by so quickly. One minute I am in China, the next I am still here in the USA. I will admit I am very much looking forward to this new year. I have so many things I want to do and get done. hmmm and maybe the next post I will tell you all what some of the things might be, LOL. But I just want to kinda keep this short, so here is hoping your New Year is all that you prayed it would be.

Hello again to all you Mad monkey fans. I soooo sorry for being so very late with this latest installment of MTM. But as always you know how life like to bend the best laid plans of mice and men. ANYway, this is a special new addition. Here we introduce a new girl Monkey as was so requested by a number of fans . SO from here on out we should be seeing some new interaction with some new characters as we all learn to Mind the Monkeys.

Well there you have it folks. My comic salute to the Karate Kid. I was thinking I wanted to do a fun martial arts themed comic to help me setup a cool t-shirt design I had in mind but I wasnt sure how to do it. So I got to talking with people and the idea came to me, wax on, wax off. and I knew what I had to do. I like how it came out actually. My favorite part is the waxing the car because I wasnt sure it could pull it off but it seems to have worked out nicely.

So now that I have 4 fun comics its time for number 5 to get started. For which mom has already drawn up an idea and put the drawing on my bed when I got home the other nite lol. So way to go mom for popping the ideas out. Good thing she is excited about this as much as I am cause I am not sure I would have made it this far with out her help lol.

Weellll, There you have it folks, comic number 3 is now and up and in its wonderful viewable glory. This one too is coined up by me wonderful MuM. So that makes two for her and one for me. I better get on the ball and come up with the next good idea. However like all good artists, a combination of lazziness and writters block, seems to be my kryptonite. The first one I came up with was kind of a fluke idea, I have been meaning to try and do some comics for sometime now, but until now I haven’t had the right ideas and good motivation. All the ones that I have tried to start seemed either to flop after the first comic that I did or even before the first drawing. But now that I am getting in the swing of things I hope to get atleast 5 ( hopefully many more than that, but why set the bar to high).

OHHH and now that I have a good subject to work with and a great character to play with. I want to thank my friend, Bro. Paul, for his first idea, from which I drew up and have now expanded apon.

I also hope to beable to add some more characters down the line, but I would like to build up the main character first. Oh and incase any of you were ever wondering what His name is, It is Kenshu, It is a Japanese word meaning, Wise Master. And I am sure you all can tell by now that he is indeed very wise,

Anyway that is my peace for now, if any of you have any questions or ideas to help a guy out. I am willing to listen, just don’t get your hopes up.

Well Here is the first Offical post of meself Hard to believe huh?? Well I don’t exactly have much to post at this time but you keep checking and I am sure I will figure something out. LOL, Of course now that I have this working I can get back to working on my next comic. Oh and for any of you who have yet to even check it out (shame on you) you can follow the link at the left and get yourself a good laugh. Maybe one of these days I will have more of a regular schedule for these things but at the moment its whenever it gets done. So besure to check back often.

Oh and on a side note, if you happen to be a Superman fan then you NEED to go see the new movie. MMMMMM, yeah and last but not least, Happy Forth of July, Everyone.
